At the partnering event, the KORANET Pilot Joint Call in the area of 'Research for life-long health' will be officially launched.To support consortium building for the KORANET Pilot Joint Call (PJC) on Research for Life-long Health and to offer networking opportunities for interested researchers from Europe and Korea, a Pilot Joint Call Partnering Event was organised on 1/2 February 2010 in Seoul/Korea.
During the morning of the first day of the event, the KORANET project itself as well as the requirements for the participation in the KORANET PJC were presented to the interested audience. At the end of the two-day event, a face-2-face networking session presented another highly accepted opportunity for networking.
Around 30 speakers from Korea and several European countries were invited. Speakers came from different scientific disciplines ranging from health research to technologies and social sciences. Overall, more than 100 researchers participated in the event, most of them from Korea.
